What we collect
Your email address and name (if you sign in with Google), the documents you upload and the versions you create, the instructions you type, basic usage counts, and billing status from Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To run the service: sign you in, store and edit your documents, enforce plan limits, bill you, and send sign-in emails. Document text and your instructions are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to perform each edit.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help run LateDoc: Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (email delivery), Anthropic (AI processing), Google (if you choose Google sign-in), and our hosting providers. We do not sell your data.
Retention
Documents and their versions are kept until you delete them or close your account. [Retention period after account closure to be confirmed.]
Your choices
You can delete documents in the app and request account deletion or a copy of your data by emailing [email protected].
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS and stored on servers we operate. No system is perfectly secure.
